Dragon Skin explores the fetishisation of power. It presents the sole of a military boot in an exaggerated, monstrous form, transforming a recognisable object into a humorous snake-like, alien dragon skin.

Made of polyurethane, the material is hard and toxic, yet flexible. Its industrial and sensual qualities echo the large structural undertakings of the artist’s practice, which are aesthetically expressed through an unspoken sensuality.
